Hello MH community,
This holiday season, the Native American Law Student Association, NALSA, is proud to once again host a Giving Tree to support foster youth in Minnesota. In partnership with American Indian Family & Children’s Services (AIFACS), we aim to gather gifts for 37 foster children currently in placement through AIFACS.
A beautifully decorated holiday tree is set up in front of the NALSA office on the 3rd floor, featuring handmade ornaments created by our students. Each ornament includes the gender and age of a child in need. We are requesting gifts valued around $20, which can be dropped off unwrapped in the gift box by the tree with the ornament. Cash donations are also welcome and greatly appreciated.
Please feel free to reach out to nals.institute@mitchellhamline.edu or rachel.evangelisto@mitchellhamline.edu for donation inquiries. Please feel free to share the attached flyer to help spread the word and support AIFACS and NALSA. Let’s work together to ensure we collect 37 gifts and make this holiday season special for these awesome kids! Thanks!
