Quality Matters
Mitchell Hamline is a member of Quality Matters, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting research-based best practices in online and blended education. In addition to offering training and professional development opportunities for educators, QM employs a 100-point rubric to review and certify courses as consistent with evidence-based best practices in online and blended education. Courses receiving an 85 or higher from the review are formally certified–an accolade recognized by many accreditors and commonly used for recruitment purposes as well.
