Anjie Flowers has been promoted to Deputy General Counsel for Minneapolis Public Schools. Her work involves education law, employment law matters and advisement to the District. Anjie worked most recently as Assistant General Counsel for the District. She served as the District’s Equality and Civil Rights Investigator when she first joined the organization.
Anjie’s law review article was published in the Mitchell Hamline Law Review in May of 2019. The article is titled, “The Implied Promise of a Guaranteed Education in the United States and How the Failure to Deliver it Equitably Perpetuates Generational Poverty.” The article can be found here.
