Lauris A. Heyerdahl died January 10, 2022 at the age of 58. Lauris was born on December 15, 1963. Preceded in death by his father, Paul Heyerdahl & brother Galen Heyerdahl. Survived by his sons Isaac and Ethan, mother Rose Heyerdahl, Nephew Justin, several cousins and many friends. Lauris attended Carleton College, B.A., 1986, and attended Law School at William Mitchell College of Law, J.D., cum laude, 1991. In his spare time, he used his Law degree to provide guidance and help family members, friends and anyone who was in need. Lauris had the biggest heart and would take any opportunity to give and help more. Lauris was a family man. He was loyal, devoted and supportive father who loved to travel and explore the outdoors while making memories with his family. His favorite activities included camping, football, cooking, reading and listening to music. Coaching and watching his sons play and grow up is what made him the happiest in life. He served his community by volunteering as a football coach over the years. He was also known to pull out the more adventurous sides of people, whether it was exploring a new city or trying a new cuisine. He knew how to encourage people to be the best versions of themselves.
