Target Diversity in Law Scholars – Spring 2018 Externship & Scholarship Program
Each spring, Target Corporation hosts a student extern in their Corporate Law department in Minneapolis. One Mitchell Hamline student is selected to work with Target’s legal counsel on a variety of business and law issues. The selected student will be enrolled in the Law and Business Externship for the spring semester and will earn 4 credits for their work with Target Corporation. The selected student also receives a scholarship from Target Corporation that is paid at the end of the spring semester upon successful completion of the externship.
Eligibility
Eligible students must be either 2Ls or 3Ls at Mitchell Hamline. You must have taken Professional Responsibility, have the ability to enroll in the Law and Business Externship (4 credits) for the spring semester and have transportation to Target’s Minneapolis office. Preference will be given to students who have also taken Business Organizations or who are scheduled to take Business Organizations in the spring semester. Students of diverse backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.
