The Minnesota Supreme Court has announced that it will host two Mitchell Hamline School of Law student Residents for Fall Semester 2018. One of the Residents will work full time during fall semester directly under the supervision of Justice Ann McKeig and Justice David Lilihaug. The other Resident will work full time during fall semester directly under the supervision of Justice Paul Thissen. Although the actual start dates are still to be determined, Residencies will begin right around the time Fall Semester starts and run through the end of the semester.
A well-qualified applicant will meet the following qualifications:
- Third Year Student
- Strong Record of Academic Performance
- Strong research, writing and analytical skills

A selection committee will conduct an initial review of the submissions. Then 3 -4 candidates will be passed on to the Justices for their consideration. The Justices anticipate conducting interviews of the finalists in mid-July.
