Trying to figure out what kind of office or organizational setting you might like to practice in? Not sure which firms or organizations to apply to during OCI?
Sign up to attend Off the Record Night next week (4/16) to explore:
Large Firm Life (with Rachhana Srey, a partner at Nichols Kaster)
Medium-Sized Firm Life (with Brenna M. Galvin, a partner at Maser, Amundson, Boggio, P.A.)
Small Firm Life (with Jonathan Wolf, an attorney at Rinke Noonan)
Government Agency Life (with Britt Kringle, an attorney at the Minnesota Department of Human Services)
Practitioners will come prepared to discuss the merits and challenges of their organizational settings, strategies to get in the door, and how to succeed once inside. Learn how OCI, networking, clerkships, volunteering, and experiential classes played a role in helping these attorneys secure and succeed in their jobs.
There will be two sessions, so you can sign up to meet with one or two different practitioners: 4:00-4:45 (Session 1) and 5:00-5:45 (Session 2).
Please register for the times that work best for you on Symplicity (Events > Workshops). All students are invited to attend. Remote attendance is available for students living outside the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area. Please email careers@mitchellhamline.edu if you are interested in attending remotely.
