As a Navy JAG Corps intern/extern, you’ll be assigned to a legal command/staff and gain experience in traditional Navy JAG Corps practice areas such as military justice (criminal prosecution and defense), legal assistance (providing general legal advice to Sailors and their families), and command services (advising military commanders and their staffs). Other available internship practice areas include national security law, admiralty and maritime law, appellate litigation, administrative law, civil litigation, and environmental law. We also offer judicial clerkships within the Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals and Navy Trial Judiciary.

Currently we are gauging interest and availability as we know the COVID-19 environment is ever-changing. Please let me know if your campus is currently allowing in-person events or anticipates in-person events in the spring and any restrictions/requirements to do so.
