Student Externship
Duties and Responsibilities:
Students externs will review motion briefing, observe evidentiary hearings and jury trials, and assist in drafting memoranda and orders.
Qualifications:
This opportunity is available to second-, third-, and fourth-year law students. Preference will be given to students who have previously taken Criminal Procedure. Strong research and writing skills are required.
Location:
Students will need to have at least one day available each week to be present at the Hennepin County Government Center, located in downtown Minneapolis.

Hours:
10 – 40 hours per week
Compensation:
No monetary compensation is available. Students may earn academic credit.
