Sign up TODAY to shadow an attorney or judge in Ramsey County, either in-person or remotely, during Spring Break of 2023 (March 6-10). This is a unique opportunity to observe court proceedings, meet with attorneys and talk to them about their practice in Ramsey County, or shadow an attorney or judge during an online hearing or other proceeding. Once matched with an attorney or judge, you the student, must agree to:
(1) contact the attorney or judge to arrange the time and details of the visit
(2) dress and interact professionally
(3) send a thank you note to the attorney or judge after the visit
(4) complete the program evaluation and
(5) agree to treat everything you hear as confidential – during your job shadow experience, you may be exposed to sensitive information. You should treat all such information as confidential and not share it in any way that could identify the client or disclose any other identifying elements.
