The student organization, Parents and Caregivers Attending Law School (PALS), has limited funding available to provide financial support to students who incur eligible caretaking expenses such as those outlined here: Eligible Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA) Expenses – FSAFEDS.
The Office of Financial Aid and Dean of Students will review fund applications*. Approved grants are disbursed by the Office of Student Accounts.
To be eligible for these funds, students must:
- Be currently enrolled as a degree-seeking student in the semester at the time of disbursement.
- Must be an active member of PALS, subject to approval by PALS officers.
- Funds must be used for eligible caretaking expenses such as those outlined here: Eligible Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA) Expenses – FSAFEDS
- Receipts are not required but may be requested from financial aid.
*Childcare and caretaking funds will be included in a student’s estimated financial assistance. Students may not be eligible for funds if they have exceeded the maximum cost of attendance loan limit.
