The Ruby R. Vale Interschool Corporate Moot Court Competition is a national interscholastic appellate moot court competition sponsored by the Widener University School of Law Moot Court Honor Society. In the early fall, participants research designated legal issues and practice their oral advocacy skills. In the late fall, participants are paired into two person teams and write appellate briefs. The teams then present oral arguments to panels of judges. One team may be invited to represent the college at the national competition in the spring.
This competition is open to all students who have either completed or are concurrently enrolled in (1) Writing & Representation: Advocacy; and (2) either Agency, Partnerships, and LLCs or UCC – Sales.
Intra-school competitors receive one pass/fail credit. A team representing the college at the national competition.
