Mitchell Hamline alumni make up one in three of all honorees in the Attorneys of the Year 2024 list compiled by Minnesota Lawyer. Not only that, but alumni are also present in every category represented.

Rick Petry ’98
Included among those honored was a familiar face around the Mitchell Hamline building: Adjunct Professor and Co-Director of Mitchell Hamline’s Office of Culture and Inclusion Rick Petry ’98. In total, 27 Mitchell Hamline alumni from across different practice areas and industries were named to the list. One alum, Caitlin Micko ’13, was recognized twice for separate projects.
Attorneys of the Year aims to recognize practitioners for their work securing successful case or business results, providing excellent legal services, demonstrating leadership, participating in newsworthy events in the legal community, and performing significant public service. The list below contains only those honorees that are Mitchell Hamline alumni. The full list of 2024 honorees can be found published online, and they will be celebrated at an event next month in Minneapolis.
