The freezing problem fixed, but action on your part is required
ExamSoft has announced that they have an update for SofTest that will resolve the issue of Mac OS computers freezing during exams after the Mac OS 10.12.4 update. Normally SofTest would update itself, but in this case ExamSoft says Mac users will need to complete the update manually. It is vitally important that you update your SofTest before the exam period starts by using the information contained at http://university.examsoft.com/h/i/339905571-pre-release-access-to-mac-version-of-softest. If you need assistance, you can come to the IT Helpdesk in the library, call us at 651-290-6411, or email it@mitchellhamline.edu.
