You may have received emails recently inviting you to click a link to a shared document in Dropbox. Unless you are expecting a shared document from someone, it is best to never click these links until you receive verification from the sender. If you received an email recently with the subject “<sender emailaddress>” used Drop box to share a file with you”, delete the email as it is not actually from the listed sender and the link will divert you to a page that will attempt to harvest your username, password and possibly other information. If you clicked the link and were able to enter login information on the site, you should change your Dropbox password and any other password you might have used as soon as possible.
