Ben Omorogbe ’95 (WMCL) was recently honored by the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers with the group’s President’s Award for the significant contributions he’s made to MABL and the legal community.
One of the founding members of MABL, Omorogbe is vice president and associate group general counsel at The Travelers Insurance Companies. He’s responsible for the legal affairs of the company’s world-wide risk control operations, as well as its world-wide economic sanctions and anti-money laundering compliance program.
He served on the Trustee and Alumni boards at William Mitchell, one of Mitchell Hamline’s predecessor schools, and continues to serve the school in an advisory role.
Ben has mentored many lawyers, law students, and community leaders and has received numerous awards and honors for his work.
