The Mitchell Hamline Alumni Board is accepting nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award, the Outstanding Alumni Award, and the Recent Alumni Award.
Nominees must be alumni of Mitchell Hamline or one of its predecessor schools. They must have made significant career, leadership and/or service contributions to their community, Mitchell Hamline, or the legal profession. There is no requirement that the nominee be actively practicing law.
Alumni who have been previously recognized by either Hamline University School of Law or William Mitchell College of Law are not eligible, nor are alumni currently serving on the Mitchell Hamline Alumni Board or Board of Trustees. To see a listing of alumni who have been recognized by these predecessor schools, please visit this page. The Recent Alumni Award is a new form of recognition so there are no previous recipients.
Nominations may be made by alumni, faculty, staff, or members of the Board of Trustees. To nominate a graduate for this award, please complete a nomination form for the appropriate award online at the links below no later than Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017. If you submitted a nomination last year, you do not need to submit a new form for the same person, unless you wish to update the committee on recent activities or accomplishment.
Nominations will be reviewed by the Alumni Board’s Nominations Committee and the awardees will be selected by the Alumni Board. The recipients of the awards will be recognized at an Alumni Celebration at Mitchell Hamline in February.
