Thank you for your interest in joining fellow alumni on March 20, 2026, in Washington, D.C., as Mitchell Hamline President and Dean Camille Davidson will serve as the group sponsor to motion the Supreme Court of the United States for your admission.
Here’s important information for admission that you need to know and do:
- Applicants must have been admitted to their state’s highest court for three years before they are eligible to be admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States bar, must not have been the subject of any adverse disciplinary action, and must be found by the court to be of good moral and professional character.
- The Application for Admission to Practice must be completed, along with a check for $200 made payable to “Supreme Court of the United States,” and submitted to the Mitchell Hamline Development Office by December 1, 2025.
- The application must also be accompanied by a Certificate of Good Standing. (This link is for the Minnesota Supreme Court. For all others, please refer to the supreme court in your state).
- The admission application, $200 check, and good standing certificate must be COMPLETE in order for Mitchell Hamline to submit it to the Supreme Court of the United States. Your application is not guaranteed until verified.
In addition, Mitchell Hamline’s opportunity to participate collectively in this ceremony has attendance parameters: We must have at least 13 qualified applicants, but no more than 50, to secure our spot. We will follow up with you upon receipt of your application materials. If you have questions, please contact [email protected].
