Chris Pham ’09
Mitchell Hamline Trustee Chris Pham ’09 was named one of the 100 People to Know in 2026 by Twin Cities Business magazine. The TCB 100 is an essential guide to people in and around Minnesota business who are likely to make news and drive change in the year ahead.
Pham is a shareholder at Fredrikson & Byron who brings deep expertise to a range of industries, including sports and entertainment, hospitality, real estate and construction, and financial services. He serves as co-chair of Fredrikson’s sports and entertainment group, representing professional athletes and working with University of Minnesota athletes on name, image, and likeness (NIL) monetization.
In a press release from Fredrikson, Anthony Mendoza, Pham’s sports and entertainment group co-chair, said, “Chris is at the forefront of the evolving sports and entertainment law sector. He has achieved that position due to his pioneering work founding the University of Minnesota NIL Clinic, and his diligent representation of clients, helping them navigate opportunities and challenges to achieve their professional goals.”
Pham is also committed to pro bono service and deeply engaged in the community, founding the lifestyle brand and event platform Elevate in 2017. He has served on the Board of Trustees since 2018, and he was profiled by Mitchell Hamline earlier this year in recognition of his generosity to the law school.
