Barbara Gislason ’80 received two significant honors in 2025. She received the Presidential Medal from the Paris-based Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA), a leading international law organization founded in 1927 and was recently appointed as Counsellor to the President of the UIA. Gislason just completed work on her last issue as Editor-in-Chief of the Juriste International, the flagship publication of the UIA distributed to 110 countries. Her Editorial Board had editors from more than 20 countries and included fellow alum Honorable Peter M. Reyes, Jr.
