On December 3, 2025, Minnesota Chief Justice Natalie Hudson surprised Senior Judge John Guthmann ’80 and Judge Todd Schoffelman ’94 with presentation of the Chief Justice Award at the annual Minnesota Conference of Judges. The award was given for “exemplary leadership and advocacy in strengthening the Judicial and Court Staff Safety and Privacy Act.” In the picture below, Senior Judge Guthmann is on the right with co-recipient Judge Todd Schoffelman on the left – flanking Chief Justice Hudson.
