Ready, Set, Network!
Join the Urban Land Institute of Minnesota’s Young Leadership Group for a Speed Networking Event for Mitchell Hamline students on Monday, November 14, 2016. The event will be hosted in the Conservatory at Mitchell Hamline School of Law from 6:00 pm – 7:15 pm.
This event is designed to provide law students and young professionals an opportunity to practice their pitch and walk away with an abundance of new business connections in a very short, efficient manner. Students will be matched up (1:1) with a real estate or land use professional for a three minute “date”: each person will have one minute to introduce themselves, and then they will have an additional minute for questions and conversation. After three minutes, folks will rotate to form new pairings, generating new connections and opportunities to learn about the multitude of ways to practice in the world of real estate and land use.
The ULI MN | Mitchell Hamline School of Law Speed Networking Event is a unique opportunity for students to practice their networking skills, introduce themselves to professionals in a wide range of positions in the fields of real estate and land use, and learn more about the broad spectrum of opportunities for practicing attorneys and JD’s in the fields of real estate and land use.
Attendees will include many Mitchell Hamline alumni, and we anticipate that they will hail from a variety of fields (private practice, in-house, government, non-profit) and will work in a wide range of positions, including real estate development, litigation, transactional work, brokerage, title examination, appraisals, analysis, lending, and urban planning.
Whether you are interested in exploring opportunities to use your J.D. in real estate or land use or you are looking for an occasion to practice your networking skills in a warm and inviting atmosphere, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
