JUDICIAL RECOURSES COMMITTEE & JUST THE BEGINNING-A PIPELINE ORGANIZATION (JRC-JTB) PRESENTS. . .
Summer 2018 Federal/State Judicial Internship Program
The JRC-JTB Summer Judicial Internship Diversity Project is an incredible opportunity for 1L and 2L students to have direct access to intern with a diverse array of Judges from across the nation.
Why you?
With more than 200 iJudges, JRC-JTB has direct pipeline access for you to compete for judicial internships in hot legal markets including but not limited to; California, Connecticut, Washington, DC, New York, Alabama, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and more!
Tangibility
A judicial internship will allow you to be hands on and work on creating legal briefs, reading cases, writing bench memoranda, and drafting judicial opinions under guidance of a judicial law clerk and judge. Our successful JRC-JTB interns are more likely to secure multiple interviews in on-campus job interviews than their colleages who do not intern with a judge.
The Correlation between Judicial Externships and Future Employment
Our track record shows a definite correlation between JRC-JTB interns and judicial clerkships and jobs in law firms. We’ve
had 40+ summer interns become judicial law clerks and many more who are now associates in law firms.
