Each year, Minnesota Justice Foundation raises funds and solicits agencies to support student summer clerkships in public interest agencies (government and nonprofit organizations). The application period for these MJF Clerkships will begin on December 3, 2018, and close on January 11, 2019.
Each clerk performs 400 hours of legal service with the agency between the end of the spring semester 2018 and the first day of fall semester 2018 on a schedule that will be determined between the clerk and agency. MJF provides the agencies a stipend to be paid by the agency to the law clerk over the course of the summer.
This opportunity is only open to current students enrolled at one of the three law schools in Minnesota. It is an excellent opportunity to gain legal experience in the public interest field!
Join us for a study break on Tuesday, December 4, to learn more about this opportunity, the application process, and participating organizations. Representatives from MJF and the Office of Career & Professional Development will be present to answer any questions you have. RSVP to jessica.bergman@mitchellhamline.edu.
