The MSBA, FBA, University of St. Thomas Law School, and the state’s affinity bar organizations are proud to present a day-long CLE conference next Tuesday, February 21, 2023, regarding how to promote equity and public safety in the criminal justice system. The conference will feature a keynote address by former Attorney General Eric Holder and panel presentations by national leaders in the following four areas: analyzing federal sentencing disparities, incorporating lessons learned from state reform efforts, leveraging community-based initiatives, and exploring innovative programs from federal districts across the country.
The cost is only $40 for law students, and although attendees are encouraged to attend the entire day, they can also sign up and attend for whatever portions of the conference fit their schedules. If you are interested in attending but unable to pay the $40 ticket price, please email Sabrina Sands (ssands@mnbars.org) to request registration free of charge. You can see more information and register here.
