Judicial Clerkship Exploration and Resume Workshop
Thinking about a judicial clerkship? Come have a light lunch with us and learn more about it!
The Office of Career and Professional Development will be hosting a workshop on Wednesday, March 22nd, from 12:30pm-1:30pm. Come join us to learn about exploring judicial clerkships in your geographic region, and to receive guidance on your resume and other application documents.
Students in their second-to-last year will typically apply for post-graduate clerkships during the spring prior to graduation, while lower courts often hire as vacancies occur. At this workshop, you will receive useful writing tips for applying to judicial clerkships, and you will be given time to work on your application materials with the assistance of a career advisor.
This event will be held on campus in the Kelley Board Room. Please bring your computer and current resume so you can edit it if necessary.
To register, sign into Symplicity, click “Workshops” and then click “Judicial Clerkship Exploration and Resume Workshop”. Registration for this event will close at 9a.m on March 22nd.
Save the date: On Thursday, March 30th, Mitchell Hamline will be hosting its annual Judicial Clerkship Panel and Reception. During this event, a panel of judges will discuss their work and what they look for in a judicial law clerk. Detailed information about judicial clerkships will be provided. A reception with the judges and past and present Mitchell Hamline law clerks will immediately follow the panel. Visit the event page to register.
