The Association of American Law Schools invites current students and graduates who may have an interest in teaching law. Join panelists including recently hired law faculty, experienced hiring chairs, and sitting deans to learn more about what it takes for a law graduate to be a successful candidate on the law school job market.
Panelists will discuss:
- Concrete actions that law students and practicing attorneys can take to increase their competitiveness when applying for law teaching jobs.
- Different pathways for entering legal academia.
- Nuts and bolts of the hiring process including the typical hiring cycle, what to expect at different phases of the hiring process, and tips for an effective job talk.
Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the webinar.
