The Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association welcomes all diverse law students to apply for free admission to the Trial Techniques Seminar, August 17 to August 19, 2023, in Duluth, Minnesota! Admitted law students will be paired with an MDLA Diversity Committee member and receive free admission to all seminar events. Students will also receive free lodging at a nearby hotel. All meals will be provided through the seminar programming.
The Trial Techniques Seminar is a great way for diverse law students to network with other attorneys and attend relevant and thought-provoking presentations on litigation strategy. Students will get the opportunity to meet legal professionals, judges, and vendors who work in the civil-defense practice. Past law student attendees have enjoyed ample opportunities to network and create relationships with local defense practitioners. Friday night also includes a group networking event at Skyline Social and Games, where attendees and their families can join in fun activities.

The deadline for applications is Monday, July 17, 2023. Diverse law students are encouraged to apply by submitting a diversity statement and a resume to Anna Kim (akim@lmc.org) and Neven Selimovic (nselimovic@hjlawfirm.com). Limited spots are available, so be sure to apply as soon as possible.
