Student Registration is now open for the Minnesota Minority Recruitment Conference on August 2! For over 15 years, the Minnesota Minority Recruitment Conference (MMRC) has connected legal employers in the Twin Cities metro area with rising 2L, 3L, and LLM students of color from around the country. We’re excited to launch the process for students to learn more about MMRC and register. Read this email to learn more about MMRC, important deadlines, and how you can get help with your resume and application materials.
What is MMRC?
Twin Cities Diversity in Practice (TCDIP) is a nonprofit association of leading Twin Cities legal employers with a single mission: to attract, recruit, advance, and retain attorneys of color in and around the Twin Cities. For over 15 years, TCDIP has organized the Minnesota Minority Recruitment Conference (MMRC) to connect legal employers in the Twin Cities metro area with rising 2L, 3L, and LLM students of color from across the country. MMRC will connect employers with law students who are seeking summer positions for 2025 or post-graduation employment. TCDIP actively promotes MMRC to law schools and student affinity groups across the country.
On August 2, 2024, legal employers will connect virtually with pre-screened candidates. The main event is a full day of 20-minute formal interviews. Employers include small, medium, and large firms; corporate law departments; and public interest, nonprofit, and government entities.
