The Minnesota Supreme Court is seeking four (4) Mitchell Hamline School of Law students to work as Legal Residents during Spring Semester 2025. This is an extraordinary opportunity made available to a small number of MH law students each semester.
During Spring 2025, Justice Anne McKeig, Justice Paul Thissen, Justice Gordon Moore will each supervise one Resident. Justice Karl Procaccini and Justice Theodora Gaïtas will jointly supervise one Resident. Residencies are full-time, and selected students will work in exchange for academic credit.
Required Criteria for Applicants:
- Applicant must be in their last three semesters of law school to work as a Resident;
- Passion to serve the people of the State of Minnesota;
- Strong research, writing, and analysis skills;
- Must be able to keep information confidential;
- Students of diverse backgrounds highly encouraged to apply
