Is There an Immigration Crisis: How did we get here, and where are we going?
Mitchell Hamline ACLU and Immigration Law Student Organization (ILSO) co-hosted this panel.
Immigration History, Law, and Policy, a discussion on “How we got here, a historical perspective” led by Dr. Jimmy Patiño from the University of Minnesota. Next, Susana De León of De León, Nestor & Torres provided insights into the legal issues immigration lawyers face in their work. Finally, Julia Decker, Policy Director for ACLU-MN, highlighted some policy issues that indicate where immigration law is going.
