The Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) is dedicated to meeting the needs and interests of our Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander students. Our group is committed to developing the academic and professional interests of our students as well as promoting a healthy and supportive environment for our students. Throughout the year, we will host such events as the end-of-summer potluck; the Lunar New Year cultural event; educational panels on both public and private sector practice and mental health awareness; and celebratory events during Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. We aim to bring more awareness about the Asian Pacific American communities, how the law impacts us, and the significant contributions to the law our communities have made.
APALSA is affiliated with the Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association (MNAPABA), a chapter of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. MNAPABA has provided strong support and networking opportunities to APALSA students.
APALSA invites all Mitchell Hamline law students to join the organization.
