Out!Law is Mitchell Hamline’s Association for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students and their allies. The group has been officially recognized by the school since 1985. Its purposes are threefold:
- to promote discussion of the legal issues concerning members of our communities;
- to educate the Mitchell Hamline community about our concerns; and
- to provide an accessible network and safe environment for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons at Mitchell Hamline.
Activities include meetings, social events, community event sponsorship, alumni networking and membership in the Lavender Bar Association. The group maintains an active and visible role on campus through participation in college committees and public forums and postings on our bulletin board.
