“I was hired full time as a compliance specialist at Pentair, a global water, fluid thermal management and equipment protection company on June 29th. Although this position is not health care related, I am able to utilize the skills I learned from my compliance courses and apply it to the work I do. My work includes international data privacy, creating compliance training course for our global company and managing the reporting hotline. I also review conflicts of interest and gift reporting disclosures. All of these areas can have a huge impact on Pentair if they are not handled properly, and I can definitely say that the compliance courses helped prepare me for this position.”
