2017-18 Semester Disbursement Dates
Fall 2017 First Issuance: Sept. 1
Spring 2018 First Issuance: Jan. 26
Students with credit balances can enroll in eRefunds through their student portal, or they can receive the refund by a paper check. Checks can be picked up from 9am-4:30 pm on the first issuance day of each semester, and anytime during business hours thereafter. Subsequent paper checks are disbursed starting at 10am each Friday in the Finance Office, room 276, LEC Building.
Alternative arrangements to pick up or receive checks can be made by contacting student accounts at firstname.lastname@example.org
After each semester’s initial check issuance date, subsequent disbursements are issued weekly on Fridays. Checks not picked up within 21 days will be cancelled and the funds returned to the lender.
If you pick up the check and decide within 21 days of the disbursement to return some or all of the funds to your lender, you have three choices:
- Return the original check to the Finance Office with a written statement indicating the amount and which loan to repay.
- E-mail email@example.com to request that your check be voided and returned to your servicer.
- Repay loans directly to the servicer. Any payment you make within 120 days of disbursement will result in cancellation of fees and interest for those disbursed funds.
*Please note, students who have not enrolled in eRefunds that are in the Hybrid and EJD programs will have their checks mailed automatically.
After 21 days your only option is to make a payment to your loan’s servicer.
