Tuition Due Dates
Financial Aid in the form of scholarships and loans received by the school will be credited directly to the student’s account.
The balance and tuition and fees is due as follows:
J-term and Spring Tuition 2021 Due Dates (All): February 1 (if you have an approved payment plan tuition for J-Term is due February 1st and the first payment for Spring is due January 20th)
Summer Tuition Due Dates: TBD
Fall Tuition 2021 Due Dates: TBD
*Note: All Fall and Spring students are responsible for mandatory fees.
Electronic Payments and Refunds
Mitchell Hamline’s online payment services are delivered through CASHNet®, a third-party billing and payment service Mitchell Hamline has contracted with to facilitate online financial transactions. Students and Benefactors can make payments online using eChecks, or debit/credit cards (fees apply). In addition, student’s activity can be viewed in real time and students can sign up to receive direct deposited refunds.

Installment Payment Plan
The installment payment plan allows students to spread the cost of tuition and fees over four installments. Students must first request a payment plan by contacting the Student Accounts team at firstname.lastname@example.org for approval. Students are required to notify the Student Accounts team of any delay and/or proposed changes, students who do not comply with the agreed upon payment plan may be subject to account registration holds as well as collections. The Installment Payment Plan due dates are as follows:
- First installment of 25% is due on or before August 20th, 2020
- Second installment of 25% is due on or before September 20th, 2020
- Third installment of 25% is due on or before October 20th, 2020
- Final installment of 25% is due on or before November 20th, 2020
- First installment of 25% is due on or before January 20th, 2021
- Second installment of 25% is due on or before February 20th, 2021
- Third installment of 25% is due on or before March 20th, 2021
- Final installment of 25% is due on or before April 20th, 2021

Mitchell Hamline School of Law accepts payments on student accounts charges via ePayment through your student account (CASHNet®), by check, cash, or wire. Check payments can be made in-person, via our drop box after hours, or by mail to the address below:

Students who need to make payments internationally can do so using the banking information listed below. Payments are accepted in U.S. dollars ($) only. Please include $15 to cover processing fees.
