Markus Yira ’96 was elected president of The Minnesota Association for Justice. Yira’s term as the 70th President of MAJ is effective August 16th, 2024.  Since 2004, he has been an Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline, where he currently teaches Torts, Constitutional Law, and Civil Dispute Resolution in the Blended Learning Program.
