Col. John Swanberg retired from the Army after 42 years of combined active and reserve duty. John was commissioned as an officer in 1991 in the JAG Corps and has been on active duty since 1997.  John will be working in Douglas County Wisconsin as Assigned Counsel for the Public Defender’s Office.
