PRESENTATION: 7/9/2018 Tobacco Town Minnesota: An Overview
Kerry Cork of the Public Health Law Center, along with Todd Combs of Washington University in St. Louis and Matthew Kasman of the Brookings Institution, presented “Tobacco Town Minnesota: An Overview” to the ClearWay Minnesota Program Grants and Contract Committee. The presentation focused on the results of their joint research project – an agent-based computational system modeling the health impact of select tobacco retail policies in Minnesota.

Natasha Phelps and Susan Weisman gave a presentation–“Reining in JUUL and its Progeny: Policy Considerations”–to members of the Minnesotans for a Smoke-Free Generation Coalition at a meeting held at the offices of ClearWay Minnesota, in Bloomington, MN. The presentation addressed public health concerns about the rise in youth and young adult use of e-cigarettes and potential policy responses.
