They tackled such issues as: when faced with an intractible problem, how do you approach the problem? If you have been an anti-gun advocate but become the victim of a violent assault, how do you decide whether you now should own a gun? What can we do today about our country’s history of slavery?

Professor Thaddeus Pope’s article, “Neurologic Diseases and Medical Aid in Dying: Aid-in-Dying Laws Create an Underclass of Patients Based on Disability” was published in volume 22 of the American Journal of Bioethics. Lonny Shavelson, Margaret Pabst Battin, Alicia Ouellette, and Benzi Kluger co-authored the article.
