Professor Eric Janus and Maddie Ranum organized a panel presentation at the annual convention of Minnesota Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (MNATSA).
The panel was entitled “$100 Million to End Sexual Violence in MN: reimagining the use of state resources to combat sexual harm.” Ranum moderated the panel, and Professor Janus presented a talk entitled “A $100 Million Opportunity for Prevention.”

EVENT: 4/28/2023 Third National Convening for the MHSL Sex Offense Litigation and Policy Resource Center
Professor Eric Janus and Maddie Ranum organized the third national convening for the MHSL Sex Offense Litigation and Policy Resource Center (SOLPRC) which was held at MHSL on April 28 and 29. The invitation-only event was funded by the Vital Projects Fund, which has provided over $800,000 in funding to SOLPRC over the past five years. The 36 attendees included 20 lawyers involved in impact litigation; law professors from University of Michigan, Florida State University, and University of California, Berkeley; and nine social scientists and mental health
professionals.
