Eric Janus appeared in a Law Professors’ Brief Amicus Curiae, along with Professor Sandy Mayson, University of Pennsylvania Law School, and Professor William Araiza, Brooklyn Law School, in Does v. Whitmer (EDMI), advancing an animus-based theory of Equal Protection and Substantive Due Process in a challenge to the Michigan sex offender registration and notification scheme.

Professor Thaddeus Pope provided testimony on H.F. 1930 to the Committee on Health, Finance, and Policy of the Minnesota House of Representatives on January 25, 2024. H.F. 1930 is a bill for an act relating to health; establishing an end-of-life option for terminally ill adults; and proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 145.
