Mitchell Hamline’s board of trustees and alumni association board welcomed new members this summer. The new members of the board of trustees are:
- Duchess Harris ’11, professor of American Studies at Macalester College
- Steven Messick ’08, owner/attorney of at Messick Law
- Judge Bhupesh Pattni ’12, 6th Judicial District, St. Louis County, Minn.
- Mary Quist, senior vice president, corporate controller at Medica
- Jessie Stomski ’08, general counsel, Prairie Island Indian Community
- Sean Whitlock ’04, principal/chief underwriter at Whitlock Capital Group
In addition, the terms of board members Chris Chalstrom ’91, Judge Sara Grewing ’03, and Mark Hallberg ’79 came to an end. We thank them for their service to the board and for all they have done and will continue to do for our Mitchell Hamline community. Learn more about the board of trustees.

Meanwhile, Mitchell Hamline’s alumni association welcomed two new board members: Amber Goodwin ’21, an assistant district attorney for the Travis County District Attorney’s Office in Texas who was Student Bar Association president during her final year of law school, and Katherine Raths ’22, currently a clerk for Justice Paul Thissen of the Minnesota Supreme Court, who was editor in chief of Mitchell Hamline’s law review during her final year of law school.
