Mitchell Hamline Strong Password Policy

The following rules must be followed when you change your password:

You must use a new password that is at least eight (12) characters in length.

• The password must contain all of the following criteria:
• Uppercase Letters: A-Z
• Lowercase Letters: a-z
• Numbers: 0-9
• Symbols: !@#$%^&*()_-+=
• You cannot use your name or a complete word that can be found in the dictionary.
• However, you can use words with numbers in place of letters. For example, I feel great! = If33lGr8!
• You may also purposely misspell your words, such as, Thunder Cats are #1 = TcatzR#1.

Please note that your password must be changed every 365 days, you will receive email reminders beginning 14 days prior to the 365 day change date.
