Please know it is your responsibility to generate and download copies of your Accommodation Letters each term. For testing and alternative format textbook requests, generating your letter is only the first step to receive your accommodations.
- Log into your MHSL Disability Services Student Portal
- Select “My Dashboard” from your Student Portal home screen, located on the left-hand side
- Under the “Overview” tab, click on “Add Requests for X Classes” under the current term box.
- Review the list of your classes for this semester. Select the classes for which you would like to use/assign (“request”) your approved accommodations. Then click “Continue to Next Step.” You can also click “Apply the same accommodations to all selected courses.”
- Select which of your approved accommodations you would like to use for each class. You are not required to select all of them. Then click “Submit Request.” Be sure you receive a notice that says “System Update Is Successful.”
- You will be able to download a PDF version of each letter.
You’ve Generated Your Accommodation Letters, Now What?
