- David Allen Larson has been awarded a $1,500 mini grant from the Executive Committee of the NAA (National Academy of Arbitrators) Research and Education Foundation. - Professor David Allen Larson and Professor Emeritus Ethan Katsh (on behalf of the National Center for Technology and Dispute Resolution) participated in the official rulemaking process as part of the U.S. Copyright Office’s Comment Period for the Copyright Claims Board’s Initiating Proceedings. We applauded the establishment of the Board and its goal of expanding access. The U.S. Copyright Office must do everything possible (and legally required), however, to make certain that any online procedures of the new Copyright Claims Board are accessible for persons with disabilities. Professor Larson’s session was titled “A New Way of Expressing Voice – The Use of Online Dispute Resolution Video Platforms At The EEOC.” The session introduced two recent studies on the performance of the EEOC mediation program and Professor Larson made the presentation with the co-author of the studies, Professor E.
