Conflict Resolution from Religious Traditions, Israel

Application

The program is open to degree-candidate law students, in good standing, who have successfully completed their first year of study, lawyers seeking continuing legal education credits, graduate students, divinity students, and members of the clergy and other professionals. To apply, complete the application form and return it with a nonrefundable $250 application fee.

If you attend a school other than Mitchell Hamline, you must provide a letter of good standing from your home institution, along with the completed application.

Enrollment is limited to enhance the interactive nature of each course. Qualified students are accepted on a first-applied, first-enrolled basis.

Cost

Degree-Seeking student tuition: $1,350 per credit (for 2 or 3 credits)
Nonrefundable application fee: $250
Program fees: $1,450 (includes lodging, books, fees for class tours, programs and health insurance.)
Total: $4,400 (2 credits); $5,750 (3 credits)

Non-degree seeking student tuition: (not seeking transferable credits): $1,450
Non-refundable application fee: $250
Program fees: $1,450 (includes lodging, books, fees for class tours, programs and health insurance.)
Total: $3,150

The nonrefundable application fee of $250 is payable with the submission of the application form. The remaining balance is due on or before November 15, 2019.

Program participants should contact their home school financial aid office to determine eligibility for financial aid.  The total financial aid budget shown is eligible for loan financing.  Mitchell Hamline scholarships cannot be applied to any off-campus or study abroad costs.

If you are seeking financial aid and have submitted a completed consortium agreement, you are not required to submit the tuition/fees balance until your loan becomes available. Should you withdraw from the program before November 15, 2019, tuition and fees are refunded. If you withdraw after November 15, 2019, you are liable for full tuition and fees. The $250 application fee is nonrefundable.

Planning a Program Budget

Estimated program costs:

  • Application Fee: $250
  • Tuition: $2,700 (2 credits); $4,050 (3 credits); $1,450 (0 credit)
  • Fees: $1,450 (includes lodging, books, fees for class tours, programs and health insurance)
  • Airfare: $1,500 – $2,000 (Depending on departure city.)
  • Miscellaneous expenses: $700 (Miscellaneous expenses include local travel, meals, personal expenses, etc.; this will vary depending on your spending habits.)

Withdrawal

Should you need to withdraw from the program, you must do so in writing. Should a student withdraw from the program on or before November  15, 2019, tuition and fees will be refunded. All tuition and fees are non-refundable after November  15, 2019. The $250 application fee is non-refundable.
