As an executive agency, the Department of Justice is tasked with enforcing the laws that are passed by Congress and signed into law by the President — of which SORNA is one.
The public comment period is open until October 13th, 2020. If you would like to review the proposed rule and / or submit a comment, you may do so via the Federal Register.
